Mary Novak age 96 of South River passed away Monday February 23rd 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Old Bridge. Born in South River she has resided there for nearly all her life. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church and a home maker

Predeceased are her husband Frank “Francis” Novak, her brother Andrew Rice, and sisters Sophie Kaczynski and Rose Adametz. Also predeceased is her daughter Virgina Novak who passed away February 3rd 2015. Surviving are her son Frank Novak Jr., her daughters and son-in-laws Doris and Matthew Kokoska, Caroline and John Economou, Mary and Al Budny. Also surviving are her brothers Walter and Joseph Rice and her many grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 10am at the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River with a burial at Holy Cross Burial Park to follow.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
