Obituary for Richard Paul Niziolek Sr.

Richard  Paul   Niziolek Sr.
Richard Paul Niziolek, Sr., age 73 of Parlin passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Bayshore Healthcare Center in Holmdel Township surrounded by his loving family. Born in Elizabeth he has resided in Parlin for the past 30 years. After graduating from Roselle High School Mr. Niziolek became a proud member of the US Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. Richard was an integral part of Aircraft Maintenance during his service time. Before his retirement in 2005 Richard was employed as a Senior Service Technician with Elizabeth Town Gas Company in Union for many years.

He is predeceased by his parents Paul & Mary (Dylong) Niziolek and his brother Leopold. Surviving is his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara (Brennan) of Parlin; his children and their spouses Richard & Stefanie of Tom’s River and Kathrine & Michael DeCandia of Brick; his brother and wife Thomas & Linda of Milltown; sister-in-law Stephanie of Brick; and his beloved granddaughter Julianna as well as many cousins, nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin followed by a 9:30am Mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church with entombment to follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia.
