Florence Gebbia Traina, age 99 of Parlin, passed away Thursday August 4, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Thompsonville, CT, Florence had resided in New Jersey for many years. Before her retirement, Flo was a seamstress with ILGWU.
She is predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Maria Gebbia, her husband Charles Traina, her granddaughter Dina Marie Heil, her brother Joseph Gebbia and her son in law Frank Musarra.
Surviving are her daughters Mary Ann Musarra, Lucille Sullivan, her grandchildren Frank Musarra and his wife Michelle, Deborah Almedia and her husband Arthur, Joanne Musarra Pipitone and her husband Paul Pipitone, Jackie Sullivan, Michael Sullivan and his wife Renne, Suzanne Sullivan, her great-grandchildren Amanda Musarra, Charles Heil, Nicole Heil, Kimberly Gerlesky, Sean Gerlesky, Kyle-Bo Almedia, Hunter Almedia, Damian Pipitone, Arianna Pipitone, Justin Jodar, Riley Bonilla and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, with a 9:30am mass to follow at St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin. Cremation will be private.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
