Obituary for Stephen Edward Zuczek

Stephen Edward Zuczek age 65 of Sayreville passed away Monday September 5, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Born in New Brunswick, he was raised in East Brunswick where he was a 1969 graduate of East Brunswick High School, before moving to Sayreville in 1984. Before his retirement April 1st, he was employed as a maintenance mechanic for Middlesex County Utility Authority for 17 years and prior to that as a plumber with E.Z. Plumbing in Sayreville. Stephen was a member of the N.R.A., Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol Club, and was a former member of the Sayreville Board of Education. Stephen was also a self employed D.J. owner of Flip Side DJ and was house DJ of Union Jack in South River.
He is predeceased by his father Edward J. Zuczek. Surviving are his wife of 34 years Elizabeth “Liz” Zuczek, his daughter Amanda Ludwinski and her husband Todd of Fords, his son Shane Zuczek of Sayreville, his mother Irene R. Zuczek of East Brunswick, and his siblings Joseph Zuczek of East Brunswick, Kathleen Ball of Colorado, Linda Kelly of Florida and Susanne Hillen of East Brunswick.
Memorial services will be held Saturday 2:00pm at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville, cremation will be private. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Saturday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
