South Amboy
Robert Aucone, age 78 of South Amboy passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy with his loving family at his side. Born in Elizabeth, he had resided in South Amboy for most of his life. Before his retirement Robert was employed by Charles Komar and Sons and Congoleum Corporation.

Robert is predeceased by his mother, Virginia Seaman and brother in law Robert Kelly. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan Kelly Aucone, his children and their spouses, Richard and Susan Aucone, Robert and Gloria Aucone, and Janice and Bryan Mc Crickard, his grandchildren, Lynnette Aucone, Rick and his wife Krystle Aucone, Randy Aucone, Bob Aucone and Amanda Aucone, his great grandchildren, Michael, Marissa and Ricky, his sister Judy Hecht and her husband Robert, his sister in laws Shirley Kelly and Helen Vona and her husband Robert, brother in law Thomas Kelly and wife Kathleen and many loving nieces and nephews. Robert will be missed dearly by his wife, family and everyone who knew him.

Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ are Sunday from 6pm to 9pm. A memorial mass will be held Monday 9am at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
