Obituary for Anastasia "Koumarianos" Ferguson
East Brunswick
Anastasia Ferguson, age 48, of East Brunswick, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, with her loving family at her side. Born in Athens, Greece she has resided in East Brunswick all of her life. Anastasia was a graduate of East Brunswick High School and a member of Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway.
Surviving are her children John Angelo Ferguson and his wife Candice of Cream Ridge and Arianna Ferguson of East Brunswick, her granddaughter Athena Rose Ferguson, her parents Angelo and Mary Koumarianos of East Brunswick, her sister Nicole Kalber and her husband Ryan of South River and her nephew Henry Angelo Kalber.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 11:30am service at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway with burial to follow at Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Letters of condolence, completed arrangements and directions can be found at www.maliszewskifuneralhome.com.
