Obituary for George Klimcsak

George Klimcsak, age 89 of East Brunswick passed away Monday January 2, 2017 at St. Peter’s University Hospital surrounded by his loving children. Born in South River, George was a WWII Navy Veteran who served his country proudly. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion of South River, NJ as well as the Elks of Jamesburg, NJ. George worked for CBS as a cameraman for over 42 years recording all the top news, world and sporting events.

George is predeceased by his beloved wife Irene (Nelson) Klimcsak of 59 years as well as two brothers and sister. George is survived by his children, Brenda & husband Barry MacKay, Bonnie Klimcsak, Linda & husband George Rothweiler, and George Klimcsak as well as his grandchildren Allison, Kristine, Chris, Melissa, Scott, John and Jenna and great-grandchildern Amber, Mckenna, Hunter, and Hayden and his brother Edward Klimcsak.

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday from 3pm to 6pm at the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave South River, NJ. Funeral Services are private under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of George to Alzheimer’s Foundation
