Obituary for Jacob Anthony De Lemos Jr.

Jacob Anthony De Lemos, age 67, of Spotswood peacefully passed away Monday January 2, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by his loving family. Born in the Dominican Republic, he lived in South River before settling in Spotswood for the past 13 years. Before his retirement, Mr. De Lemos was a team leader for Pearson Educational Publishing in Cranbury. Jacob was also a proud and loyal communicant of The Assemblies of God World Worship Church in South River.

He is predeceased by his dear wife Martha, his parents Jacob, Sr. & Gladys (Medina) De Lemos and his sister Myrna. Surviving are his loving children Jacob, III & wife Patricia of Union City, daughter Jacqueline of North Bergen, and son William of Secaucus; 6 wonderful grandchildren Christian, Jonah, Julian, Ethan, Nicholas, & Sasha; and sisters Josephine and Vivian, both who reside in Florida.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm with a funeral service taking place at 7pm at the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jacob's name to the American Cancer Society at https://donate.cancer.org/index.
