Obituary for Jane M. "Janie" Gardner

Jane M. “Janie” Gardner, age 58, of South Amboy passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Jane was born and raised in South River and later moved to South Amboy where she has lived for many years. After graduating from South River High School Janie worked for both Hercules and Proctor & Gamble as a Chemical Operator. Janie was a loving, generous daughter, sister and aunt and was always of service to others.
Jane is predeceased by her father John in 1993 and brother John in 2005. Surviving is her mother Jane of FL; her partner of 17 years Mike Grimley of South Amboy; her siblings Mary Williscroft of FL, Diane of CA, Kevin & wife Elaine of Old Bridge, Keith of South River, Linda & Greg Moreno of FL; sister-in-law Sue Gardner; as well as 11 loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were private under the direction of the M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River, NJ 08882. Letters of condolence and completed arrangements may be found by visiting www.maliszewskifuneralhome.com.
