Stefan Strapko, age 87 of South River passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at St. Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick. Stefan was born in Belarus and was a communicant of St. Euphrosynia Belarusian G.O. Church in South River.

He is predeceased by his parents Ivan and Anna. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, the former Tatyana Selesniowski, his sons Nicholas of VA and Stefan Jr. of NH, his brother Michael and his wife Maria of IL and his sister-in-law Nina Strapko of IL.

Funeral services will be held 9:30am Monday from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River with a 10am Service at St. Euphrosynia Belarusian GO Church in South River. Burial will follow at St. Vladimir’s Cemetery in Jackson.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 7pm to 9pm with Panahida at 7pm.
