Susan L. Poznick, age 68 of Monroe Township, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born and raised in Bound Brook, she had resided in Monroe Township for the past 5 years and South River for many years prior to that. After graduating from Bound Brook High School in 1966, Susan began working as a Dental Assistant, most recently with Robert Wood Johnson Dental Clinic in New Brunswick where she worked for over 30 years. Sue was a lover of travel, having been to such exotic locations as China, Mexico, Buenos Aries, and the Caribbean Islands, just to name a few.

Susan is predeceased by her father Theodore Prugh in 2011. She is survived by her mother Mildred (Smalley) Prugh of New Brunswick; son Matthew of South River; her beloved life partner of 25 years Roger West of Monroe Township; and her brother Jack Prugh of South Carolina.

Calling hours will be held at the M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue South River, on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral services will take place 9:30am on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bound Brook Cemetery.
