John C. Bladzinski, age 78 of Manalapan, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 22, 2017 at Haven Hospice JFK Medical Center in Edison with his wife at his side. Born in Elizabeth, John was currently residing in Manalapan and was previously a longtime resident of South River, having lived there for 40 years. After graduating from High School in Elizabeth, Mr. Bladzinski proudly served our country in the US Army. He then worked for Merck in Rahway as a Computer Operations Manager for 37 years until his retirement 23 years ago. In his spare time John loved to play pool and was an avid bowler in a league with Merck.
He is predeceased by his parents John & Stephania Bladzinski. John is survived by his beautiful wife of 51 ½ years Patricia (Duquette) of Manalapan; his loving children and their spouses Michael & Dawn of Eatontown, and Janice & Gene Nelson of TX; his brother Don and wife Chris of Linden, and sister Roseanne Kocsis of Belmar; and his 3 beloved grandchildren Melissa, Jennifer, and Brianna.
A mass will take place at 9am at St. Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church on Tuesday, May 9 with burial to follow at Brigadier Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown. Completed arrangements, directions and letters of condolence may be found by visiting www.maliszewskifuneralhome.com.
