Jeffrey C. Loyer age 62 of South River passed away Thursday April 27, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in South River to the late John & Arline Loyer, he was a lifelong borough resident. Jeffrey was a self employed contractor in South River and prior to that was employed by New Jersey Transit.

He is predeceased by his sister Sally Voscavage. Surviving are his wife of 40 years Susan Moran Loyer, his son Brian and his wife Marta Loyer of Old Bridge, his daughter Heather Loyer of South River, his granddaughter Chloe Loyer, his siblings and their spouses Byron & Marie Loyer of Colts Neck, Sandy & Charles Lyons of South River, Charles & Patricia Treihart of Sayreville, John & Audrey Loyer of South River, Allen & Gloria Loyer of East Brunswick and Gregory Loyer of South River, his sister in law Patricia Bellafronte and her husband Al of East Brunswick and his grand pups Dallas & Mea and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 7pm at the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River. Private cremation will follow with burial at Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Jeffrey’s name can be made to the local nonprofit animal rescue shelter of your choice.
