Wayne Edward Chapland, age 43, passed away peacefully at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick on Thursday, July 20, 2017. Wayne was born on March 21, 1974 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Diane and Edward Chapland. He was a longtime resident of Somerset, New Jersey.

Wayne is predeceased by his father, Edward Arthur, in 2004. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Ariana Marie, with whom he spent his last waking hours. His memory lives on in her and he will be remembered by her as a happy and proud father. Wayne is also survived by his mother, Diane Marie, of Monmouth Junction, his sister, Lisa, of Monmouth Junction, his grandmother, Dolores Hofacker, of Spotswood, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Wayne enjoyed fishing and music, but above all, he loved spending time with his daughter. He is missed by many loving friends, as well.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, August 2, at the Maliszewski Funeral Home at 219 Whitehead Avenue in South River from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A private burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in East Brunswick.
