Obituary for Helen M Tengelics (Pfieffer)
Sayreville
Helen M. Pfieffer Tengelics, age 90 of Sayreville, passed away peacefully, Saturday August 12, 2017, at Care One in East Brunswick. Born in Fords, she had resided in Sayreville since 1957. Before her retirement, Helen worked as a bookkeeper for Child Craft in Edison for 20 years. In her free time, Helen could be found rescuing cats and caring for many. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville.
She is predeceased by her husband Eugene in 1987.
Surviving are her children Christine McDonald of TX, Eugene and his wife Janet of South River, Daniel and his wife Patti of Sayreville, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday 9am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville, with a 9:30am funeral mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
