Obituary for Maurice Evans
Maurice Evans, age 75 of South Amboy passed away on Wednesday, August 23rd 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born in St. Louis, MO he had resided in Sayreville and South Amboy for the past 42 years. Before his retirement he was employed as a Millwright for Morton Salt in Perth Amboy for many years.
He is predeceased by his parents Alexander and Fay Evans, his wife Veronica and his children Brian Alexander Evans and Heather Fay Evans.
Surviving are his brother Randall Evans, his former wife Jeannette Evans,
his children and their spouses, Michelle and Thomas Carpentiero and Maurice A. and Stephanie Evans, his stepchildren Barbara Cannon, Cheryl McQuade, Joseph Cymanski and Bruce Cymanski.
His grandchildren Christopher Herrick, Autumn Fullard, Matthew Evans, Emily Evans, Tara Castagna, Veronic Mendoza, Faith Cannon, Thomas H. Cannon, Jeremy Cymanski, Briana Cymanski and Anthony Castagna, his great grandchildren Brielle Fullard, Duncan Fullard, Ryder Fullard and Beatrice Herrick.
He was a generous father, brother and friend who will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be private under the direction of the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main St., Sayreville.
