Obituary for Caroline M Haney
Caroline M. Haney, 76 passed away peacefully on September 7th 2017 with her family by her side. She was born in Irvington NJ and was a long time resident of East Brunswick NJ, later settling in Monroe Township NJ. Caroline received her Bachelors of Education from Kean University, later furthering her education by receiving her Masters from Georgian Court University. Caroline worked as a teacher in the Matawan High School for 25 years and was a very active member within her community. She was a member of the NJEA, the Elks Lodge #2370 BPOE and the Women’s Club of East Brunswick.
Beloved wife of James A. Haney of 53 years. Loving mother of James K. Haney and wife Elaine (East Brunswick NJ), Michael J. Haney and wife Christine (West Long Branch NJ) and Mark R. Haney and Melissa (Brick NJ). Loving grandmother of Justin, Adam, Bridget, Connor, Bryce and Bishop. Dear sister of Martha James (Houston TX) and dear aunt of Edward, Gary and Seth.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday September 13th from 3-7 PM at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane Parlin NJ 08859. On Thursday September 14th, family and friends are to gather at the funeral home at 9 AM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick NJ 08816. Followed by Interment at Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick
