Obituary for Henry R. Blekeski

Parlin
Henry R. Blekeski, age 87, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 22, 2017 at Roosevelt Care Center, Old Bridge. Born in Newark he resided in Bellville before moving to Parlin in 1953. Mr. Blekeski proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Before his retirement in 1995 he was employed as a mill operator for Harrison Alloys in Harrison where he worked for 45 years. Henry was a coach and past president for Sayreville Soccer Association.

He is predeceased by his son Kenneth Blekeski 2012 and his parents Henry & Elizabeth Blekeski. Surviving are his children and their spouses Donna & David Usa of Monroe Township and Robert & Theresa Blekeski of Parlin, his daughter in law Colleen Blekeski of Sayreville, his grandchildren Nicole McQuade and her husband Dennis, Brittany Usa, Danielle Blekeski Robert Blekeski and his wife Kristy, Kenneth Blekeski and his wife Kelly and Brian Blekeski, his great grandchildren Sydney, Kylec, Shay, Anthony, Bredan, Erin, Madeline, Michael and Katie and his brother William Blekeski of Jackson.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with an 8pm service. Private cremation will follow with burial at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown N.J.
