Henry Mizin, age 89, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2017 in NYC. He was a loving & caring husband, father, grandfather, friend and so much more. He will be missed by all who knew him. Henry was a plant manager at Hercules Chemical Co. for over 30 years, where he was a member of their 10 and 25 year clubs. He was a proud Marine Veteran who served in both WWII and The Korea War and a communicant of St. Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River.
Henry is predeceased by his parents Theodore & Caroline Mizin as well as his beloved wife Edwinia and siblings Anthony, John, & Cazimir Mizin, Mary Russell and Helen Soltis.
He is survived by his children and their spouses Melanie & Ronald Madeira, Michael & Donna Mizin, Madalene & Joe Tino, and Mark Mizin, as well as his adored grandchildren and their spouses Meridith & Anthony Aiello, Jonathan Tino, Emily Tino, and Michael Mizin, and his great-grandchildren Nico, Rosa, Melanie & Veronica Aiello and his sisters in law Olga Mizin & Pearl Mizin.
A memorial mass will be held Friday at 12pm at St. Mary’s Ostrabrama Church, South River, NJ.
