Spotswood
Doris Emmons, age 84, passed away peacefully Sunday November 4, 2017 at her home in Spotswood. Born in Sayreville, she had been a borough resident for most of her life before moving to Spotswood. Before her retirement, Doris was employed as a librarian for Sayreville Public Library. She was a devout member of Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church in Sayreville and enjoyed cooking for her family, reading new novels & walking 5 miles per day.
Surviving are her loving husband Paul Emmons, her sons Mark Emmons and Tom Emmons, her brothers and their spouses Walter and Florence Kwiatkowski and Fred and Adele Kwiatkowski, her brother in-law and sister-in-law Ruth and Kenneth Kreismer and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 10:30am at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main with an 11am funeral mass being offered at Our Lady of Victories, Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 9:30am to 10:30am. In Lieu of flowers please make donations in Doris’s name to a charity of your choosing
