Obituary for Andreas "Andy" Miller

Andreas "Andy"  Miller
South River
Andreas H. Miller, age 65 of South River, passed away Sunday November 5, 2017 at NYU Langone Medical Center in Manhattan, NY, surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Brunswick, he was a lifelong resident of South River. Andy was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired as a Sergeant in the South River Police Department. He was also an active member of the South River Fire Department, the South River Masonic Lodge and a former member of the South River Board of Education.
He is predeceased by his parents John and Claire Miller.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years the former Cathy Szydlowski, his daughter Kelly Roselle and her husband David, his son Craig, and his grandchildren Carter and Quinn Roselle.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:15am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave. South River, with a 10am mass to follow at Corpus Christi RC Church in South River. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Andy’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Cancer Association at www.donate3.cancer.org.
