South Amboy
Jeanne B. Evans Neigel, age 90 of South Amboy, passed away peacefully, Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Venetian Care Center in South Amboy. Born in Kearny, she lived in Madison Park for many years before moving to South Amboy 20 years ago. Before her retirement, Jeanne worked as a cashier and manager of D.E. Jones in Parlin for many years. She was a devout Catholic and a communicant of St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin.
She is predeceased by her parents Richard and Jeanne Evans, her husband William, her son in law Gregory Cordes, her grandson in law James Campbell, her great-granddaughter Baby Rose and her siblings Frances Carr, and Richard and Robert Evans
Surviving are her children Christopher and his wife Teresa, Catherine Cordes, Madeline and her husband Mark Bizub, David and his wife Bridget, her grandchildren Allison, Shannon, Mary, Emily, Grace, Dean, and Gina, and her great-grandchildren Avery, Genevieve and Liam.
Funeral services will be Wednesday November 29, 2017 at 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 9:30am funeral mass at St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday November 28, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm.
