Richard M. “Rich” Dombrowski, age 70, formerly of South River, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in DE with his loving family at his side. Born in New Brunswick, Rich has lived in Delaware for many years after previously growing up in New Jersey. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, he worked as a plant manager for Moneco and more recently as an agent for TF Byrne Real Estate in NJ. Rich was a wonderful engineer who could fix anything around the house. When he wasn’t watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys or New York Yankees, he loved to bake, sew, and garden. Rich was truly a renaissance man who could do it all and will be deeply missed.

Rich is predeceased by his parents Marion & Margaret Dombrowski and dear Aunt Agatha (Gat) Szatkowski. Surviving are his beloved wife Kathleen Dombrowski (Doerr) of Seaford, DE; his loving son Brian Dombrowski of Tom’s River; and cousins Leonore Szatkowski, Diane Mecca, and Joseph “Slick” Sliczynski.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30am from the M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River, with a 9am Mass at St. Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will take place Thursday from 2pm to 4pm & 7pm to 9pm, with the rosary being said at 7:30pm.
