Obituary for Raymond S Losiewicz

Raymond S. Losiewicz, age 91 of South River passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his home. Born in South River he was a lifelong borough resident. Before his retirement he was employed as a Lab Technician for Johnson & Johnson Personal Products Division in Milltown for 35 years. Raymond was a US Navy Veteran serving in WWII and a member of the South River VFW Post 1451. He was a communicant of St Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River and a member of the Holy Name Society. He was a charter member of the South River Knights of Columbus Council #3001. He enjoyed carpentry and was a great husband, father and grandfather.

He is predeceased by his parents Walter and Stella Losiewicz and by his siblings Ann Szkodny and Alfred Losiewicz. Surviving are his beloved wife of 70 years, the former Cecelia Wojciechowski, his daughters and their spouses Sandra and Hutch Witkowski of East Brunswick, Charlotte and John Fetyko of Toms River and Riki Losiewicz of Little Egg Harbor, his grandchildren Dennis Nowicki, Jennifer Martinovich, James and David Fetyko and Lisa Applegate, 19 great-grandchildren, his brother Edward Losiewicz of Spotswood and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held Saturday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River with a 9am Mass at St Mary of Ostrabrama Church in South River. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Parlin.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4pm to 7pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Raymond’s name to St Mary’s Church, 30 Jackson St, South River, NJ 08882.
