Obituary for Sean Brian Sonta
Boca Raton, FL
Sean Brian Sonta, age 39 formerly of Sayreville, passed away on December 5, 2017 in Boca Raton, FL. Born in Freehold, Sean was raised in both Arkansas and later Sayreville before recently moving to Florida. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Lyon College where he was a proud member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. Sean was the owner of North American Flatbed Services in Little Rock, AR and most recently worked as a Mental Health Technician for JFK Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL. He was a wonderful son, brother, nephew and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
Sean is predeceased by his beloved mother Shelly Buford Sonta; and his grandparents Jack and Carolyn Guenzel of Batesville, Ar; and William and Jeanette Sonta of West Orange, NJ. Surviving are his father Jeffrey Sonta of Sayreville; his dear sister Kasey Sonta and future brother in-law Faisal Syed of Edison; his brother Timothy and wife Cynthia Harris of AR; his loving nieces and nephew Shelly, Ashley, Josh and Lucy; his aunt Willette Greer of Morristown; as well as many loving aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 9:30am funeral mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. A private cremation will follow.
Calling hours at the funeral home will take place on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Sean’s name to Autism Speaks at https://act.autismspeaks.org/site/Donation.
