Obituary for Francis J Malik

Sayreville
Francis J. Malik, age 80 of Sayreville, passed away Tuesday January 9, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Sayreville, he was a lifelong borough resident. Before his retirement, Frank worked for over 30 years at McGraw-Hill Inc in Hightstown as a Supervisor of Computer Operations and then as a Disaster Recovery Architect.
He is predeceased by his parents Andrew and Agnes, his brother Daniel, his sister in law Florence, his in laws Joseph Alexander and Marie Jankowski, and his brother in law James Campion.
Frank was a loving family man who met his wife Anne when they were 11 and 13 years old. Their friendship grew to love and they were blessed to have been married for 55 years. He is also survived by his loving children Denise Sweeney and her husband Kevin, Lisa Malik-Gaspar and her husband Keith Gaspar, Jennifer Malik-Lawson and her husband James Lawson Jr., his cherished grandchildren Megan & Patrick Sweeney, Olivia, Matthew & Alexa Gaspar, and Savannah Lawson, his brothers Eugene, Robert and his wife Dot, Carl and his wife Carol, his sisters in law MaryAnn Malik and Mary Campion and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be Saturday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville, with a 9am mass to follow at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in North Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4pm to 8pm.
