Obituary for Audrey Szumowski (Perrin)
Audrey Szumowski, age 87 of South River passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 14th at her home. Born in Iselin she spent most of her life in Sayreville before moving to South River 17 years ago. Before her retirement Audrey was employed as a line worker for Middlesex Embroidery in South River. She was a communicant of St Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville where she was also a former member of the Altar Rosary Society.
She is predeceased by her parents Clinton and Claire Perrin, her husband Raymond, her son Thomas Michael and her siblings Frank, Wallace, Clinton and Richard Perrin and Doris Hendrickson. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Nick Giannakopoulos of South River, her beloved grandsons that she loved to spend time with Zachary and Dean Giannakopoulos, Kyle and Dakota Albin Szumowski and his wife Ashley, her sister Evelyn Pepitone of Fl, her daughter in law Brenda Albin Szumowski and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:30am Saturday from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main St, Sayreville with an 11am Mass at St Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery in East Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4pm to 8pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Audrey’s name to St Stanislaus School, 221 MacArthur Ave, Sayreville, NJ 08872.
