I was happy to have Charles with us in Nevada. His last years were very happy and he was comfortable with Mary and I. I enjoyed and will miss our many lively conversations about things past and present. I'm glad we were able to provide him with comfort those last few years by escaping those terrible winters. He always marveled at how green it is out here in the desert and loved talking about it.
