Caroline Knoblock, age 93, of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Monday May 21, 2018, at Venetian Care and Rehabilitation Center, South Amboy with her loving and devoted family at her side. Born in Sayreville December 23, 1924 to Joseph & Agatha Lula she was a lifelong borough of Sayreville resident. Before her retirement in 1989 she was employed by Sunshine Biscuit in Sayreville for 26 years. Mrs. Knoblock was a communicant of Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville where she was a member of the Rosary Society. Caroline also was a member of the Sayreville St Stans Senior club, Sayreville Senior Citizens Wednesday Club, Sayreville VFW Post 4699 Ladies Auxiliary, Deborah Heart & Lung Center and Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate. After her retirement, she truly devoted her life to her family, who she loved so much, especially her great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband of 32 years John in 1978, her daughter Doreen Knoblock in 1964, her parents Joseph & Agatha Lula, and her siblings Mary Roginski, Helen Bucko, Walter Lula and John Lula. Surviving are her children John Knoblock, Christine Nandor and her husband Joseph and Gary Knoblock all of Sayreville, five grandchildren Gary, Johnny, Jason, Karie Ann and Jillian, her eight great grandchildren Konner, Owen, Leo, Johnny, Blake, Alexis, Mason and Drea her brother Joseph Lula of Sayreville. Caroline was a very loving and generous woman and will be missed, and remembered fondly, by all who o knew her.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Members of the St Stanislaus Rosary, Sayreville Senior Citizens & St Stan’s Seniors and VFW Ladies Auxiliary will hold services Thursday during viewing hours.

Funeral services will be held Friday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 9am mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.
