Obituary for Josephine P Marsch (Palumbo)

Josephine P. Marsch, age 88 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Friday, May 25th at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark she had resided in Parlin for the past 51 years. Before her retirement she was employed as a realtor for Dineen Realty in Parlin for 20 years and formerly she had worked as a legal secretary for various local attorneys. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville, was a member of the OLV Columbiettes and the Sayreville VFW Post 4699 Ladies Auxiliary. Josephine enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Broadway and was a lifelong Yankees Fan.

She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Elvira Palumbo, her husband Robert and her sister Florence Jordan. Surviving are her children and their spouses Karyn and Paul Migut, Robert E., Joseph and Alisa, Timothy and Araceli, Thomas and Sonia and Denise and Mark Ruppert, her grandchildren Sean Ruppert and his wife Caroline, Robert, Timothy, Lidia and Aubrey Marsch, her great grandchildren Leonard and Eliza Ruppert, her sister Vera Tehayel and her husband Said and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:15am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with an 11am Mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in East Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Josephine’s name to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
