Nicholas Legakis, age 71, of Toms River passed away peacefully on Sunday June 24, 2018 at Willow Spring Rehab Center in Brick with his loving family by his side. Before his retirement Nicholas worked for Richardson Greenshields in New York. Nicholas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, friend and so much more. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Nicholas is predeceased by his parents Anthony & Bessie Legakis as well as his siblings. Surviving Nicholas is his loving and devoted wife Rose Ida Legakis, his beloved children and their spouses Michael & Kristine Povelaitis, Nicholas & Cathi Legakis & Carolyn & Neal Lenard as well as his adored 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be Tuesday June 26, 2018 at 10:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville, with a 11am mass to follow at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville.
