Parlin
Anne Russ, age 85 of the Parlin section of Sayreville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her home with her loving family at her side. Born in Jersey City, she had resided in Ocean Gate for 33 years before recently moving to Parlin. Mrs. Russ worked as a customer service representative for many companies before finding her ultimate calling as a homemaker, taking care of and raising her family. When she was not with her loving family, Anne could be found in Atlantic City playing the slots and searching for that winning scratch off. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Anne is predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years Donald Russ, her parents Michael & Myrtle Duffy, and her brother Joseph Duffy. Surviving are her 4 loving children and their spouses Patricia & Kevin McCormack of Parlin, Michael & Judy Russ of Union, Carol & Dave Gruytch of Parlin, and Diane Applegate of Rahway; her sister Mary Ann Paton of FL; 7 beloved grandchildren Kenneth Urbanowicz, Megan & Kevin McCormack, Kelly & Matthew Gruytch, Margaret Galati, and Joseph Russ; 5 adoring great-grandchildren Amelia, Logan, Michaele, Sean & Alex; as well as many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services are private under the direction of the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin.
