Helen M. Nelson, age 78, of Lincroft, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 22, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Before her retirement Helen was the assistant to the President of I.K.G. Industries. Helen was a loving wife, sister, aunt, friend and so much more. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Helen is predeceased by her beloved husband Lester Nelson as well as her parents Walter & Rose Suenderhaft and siblings Walter Suenderhaft and Ann McDonough, surviving is her brother John Suenderhaft and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home followed by a 10am mass at Most Holy Redeemer Church in Matawan with a burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in East Brunswick. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Helen’s name to American Cancer Society P.O.
