Nadejda Shidlovsky, age 92 passed away Monday October 6, 2014 at The Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge. Born in Russia Nadejda, immigrated to America via Elis Island to Harlem New York where she graduated from Pratt Institute of Design and later Monmouth University. During War World IIshe worked on Corsair assembly line in Connecticut. She resided in Colts Neck for most of her life. She is predeceased by her husband Boris. Surviving are her son and daughter in-law Ivan and Barbara (Bridge) Shidlovsky of Springfield, VA and her loving grandchildren Alexander, Nicholas and Sophia Shidlovsky. Nadejda was employed by AT&T Bell Labs/Lucent Technologies, 36 years, in Holmdel and is a life member of the Telephone Pioneers.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:30am at the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 10am funeral mass at St. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church in South River with a burial to follow at St. Vladimir’s Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be heldWednesday from 2pm to 4pm
