Obituary for June Wangerien (Yonkman)

June (nee) Yonkman Wangerien age 87 of Sayreville died Monday November

3, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center Old Bridge. Born in Highland Park

she had resided in Sayreville since 1954. Before her retirement in 2005 she

was employed as a bus driver for First Student in Monmouth Junction where

she worked for 25 years. Prior to that she worked for Westing House in

Edison for over 20 years. Mrs. Wangerien was a former member of Deborah

Heart & Lung Center and a member of First Presbyterian Church of

Sayreville.

She is predeceased by her husband Merle Wangerien in 1965 and her

brothers Arnold Yonkman and Henry Yonkman, her sister Gloria Bohl and

her nieces Jill Bailey & Lois Wojcek. Surviving are her sons Kevin Wangerien

of South Amboy and John Boyer of Toms River, her sisters and Janet Lowich

of South Plainfield and Anna Shirley Bailey of Sayreville, her nieces Linda

Decooms,

Cynthia Toth, Laura Held, Valerie Lowich, Debbie Scheible, Sharon

Yonkman and Henrietta Gable, and her nephews James Bohl, Walter Lowich

and Wayne Lowick.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 12:30pm at the Maliszewski Memorial

Home 121 Main Street Sayreville with burial to follow at Lake Nelson

Memorial Park, Piscataway.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in June’s name

be made to Debora Heart & Lung Center, Brownsmills, N.J. Letters of
