Fords
Eleanor Burzawa age 83 of the Fords section of Woodbridge passed away Thursday December 18, 2014 at her home. Born in Wilno, Poland she resided in Gdansk, Poland immigrating to South River 25 years ago before moving to Fords in 2009. Before her retirement she was employed as a machine operator for Stop Fire in Linden for 10 years and was a communicant of Saint Mary of Ostrabrama R. C. Church in South River.
She is predeceased by her first husband Edmund Fajkowski, her second husband Walter Burzawa and her sister Donna Swierkowski. Surviving are her children and their spouses Gene & Elizabeth Fajkowski of Spotswood, Krystyna & Edward Kaminsky of Fords and Jan Fajkowski in Poland, her sister Josephine Dembkowski of Monmouth Junction, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 9am mass at Saint Mary of Ostrabrama R. C. Church with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.
