Daniel Jose Caban age 39 passed away Saturday January 10, 2015 at his home in San Antonio, Texas. Born in Queens, New York he served his country proudly in the U.S. Army from 1992 to 2005 serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, recently settling in San Antonio 5 months ago. He has been employed as a physician assistant through Health Texas Group in San Antonio.
He is predeceased by his father Frank Caban Jr. in 2013. Surviving are his children Javier Jesus, John Paul and Arianna, his mother Margarita Ramos Caban of Parlin, his brothers Frank J. Caban of Columbia Falls MT., and Louis Hernandez of Brooklyn, N.Y. his sisters Rachael Rivera and her husband Silfredo of Sayreville Carmen Roman of Queens, N.Y. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 17, 2015 at 10:30am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Letters of condolence, directions and completed arrangements can be found at spezzifuneralhome.com
