South River
Irene Cupryk, age 95 of South River passed away peacefully at her sons home in South River on Saturday April 11, 2015. Born in Lyubach, Belarus she immigrated to South River in 1950. Before her retirement she was employed as a trimmer for R & P Wash Coat in South River for 20 years. Mrs. Cupryk was a member of Saint Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church in South River.
She is predeceased by her husband Jan Cupryk in 1983 and by her daughter in law Nadya Cupryk on April 5, 2015. Surviving are her son Robert Cupryk of South River, her daughter Lana Tremblay and her husband John of Jackson, her grandchildren Lauren and Patrick Tremblay, her great granddaughter Maria Tremblay and her sister Laura Geletsky.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 10am service at St Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church with burial to follow at St Euphrosynia Cemetery, South River.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm. Panahida services with choir will be held Wednesday 7pm at the funeral home.
