Obituary for George Gayda Jr.
South River
George Gayda Jr. age 76 of South River passed away on Sunday May 3rd 2015 at Roosevelt Care Center, Old Bridge. Born in Old Bridge he had resided in South River. Before his retirement he was employed as a forklift operator for E. I. Du Pont in Parlin and proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy.
He is predeceased by his parents George & Helen Sobieranski Gayda and his brother Larry Gayda. Surviving are his siblings Carol Gayda, Jean Johnson and her husband Gary and Ronald Gayda.
Funeral services were private under the direction of the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River. Burial was at Saint Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery,11:30am Tuesday May 19, 2015. Letters of condolence, may be sent to the family at www.maliszewskifuneralhome.com
