Obituary for Ralph Rossi
Ralph Rossi, age 90 of South River passed away Wednesday, August 26th 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in South River he was a lifelong borough resident. Before his retirement he was employed by the Borough of South River in the Public Works Department for 35 years. Ralph was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII, a member of the South River V.F.W. Post 1451 and was a communicant of St Stephen Protomartyr RC Church in South River.
He is predeceased by his parents Carl and Josephine and his brothers Dominick and Peter. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, the former Jennie Piscitelli, his sons Carl and his wife Ivette of Old Bridge and Ralph of South River, his brother Angelo of Farmingdale, his sisters Lena Rossi of South River and Josephine Guiliano of South River and his grandchildren Steffanie, Samantha and Brandon.
Funeral services will be held 8:30am Monday from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River with a 9am Mass at St Stephen Protomartyr RC Church in South River. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum in East Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
