Dear Jon Reilly, You are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this sad and difficult time. As your mom courageously fought through the challenges of her illness, we know you were by her side as not only the caring son you are, but her advocate. The love and protection you gave her was your gift to her. The absolute trust she had in you teaches us the meaning of family bond, and loyalty through good and bad times, A memory I'd like to share; As a nurse working at the detox unit and then Medical intervention unit, your mom was the security guard I could count on to help transport some of our most challenging patients Safely to our units. She was a big strong beautiful presence and could calm the most scared or surly individual with just a look! Lol! She and I had a special bond too, YOU, and my girls.
