Helen Wilk Lebiedz age 89 of East Brunswick, passed away Wednesday June 29, 2016 at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in South River, she was a lifelong borough resident. Helen and her husband Edmund owned and operated Moonie’s Riverview Inn, in South River for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River where she was a member of their Altar Rosary Society.
She is predeceased by her husband Edmund Lebiedz, and her siblings Annette Dzwil, Jean Kozlowski, and Joseph Wilk.
Surviving are her sister in law Mary Wilk, her niece Cynthia Wilk Connolly, her nephew Stephen R. Wilk and his wife Jill, her great nieces Carolyn Wilk, Colleen Johnson, Stephanie Ott, and Alexis Barrett.
Funeral services will be Friday 9:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave. with a 10am funeral mass at St. Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 8am to 9:30am.
