Obituary for Thomas A. "Tom" Nastvogel
Staten Island
Thomas A. Nastvogel, age 53, of Staten Island, NY passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. Born on Staten Island, Tom also lived in Sayreville and Albany for many years before returning to his place of birth. After graduating high school, he became a Journeyman Electrician with IBEW Local 236 NY, working mainly in the Albany area. Tom was also a certified scuba instructor, having the privilege of training and residing in Maui, HI for 3 years.
He is predeceased by his father John, Jr. Thomas is survived by his mother Barbara (Hellowell) of Sayreville; son Thomas of Seattle, WA; siblings John, III of Sayreville & Laurinda of Parlin ; godson John IV of Milltown; and Mary Nastvogel of Albany, NY.
Funeral services are private under the direction of Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville, NJ 08872.
