Obituary for Chester Kowalski
South River
Chester Kowalski age 62 of South River passed away Thursday January 26, 2017 at his home. Born in South River he was a lifelong borough resident. Before his retirement last month he was employed by Cifelli & Sons in South River and Sayreville as a sausage manufacture where he worked for 22 years and prior to that for Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick.
He is predeceased by his parents Michael & Frances Kowalski. Surviving are his siblings Helen Wisniewski of North Brunswick, Donna Kowalski of Edison, Michael Kowalski of South River and George Stan of Cliffwood Beach and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday 11am at the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River with burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. Letters of condolence to the family, completed arrangements and directions may be found at www.maliszewskifuneralhome.com
