Obituary for Donna Bogdanowicz
Donna Bogdanowicz, age 60, of the Parlin section of Sayreville peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick with her loving family at her side. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Donna lived in Whitestone, NY for many years after settling in Parlin for the past 33 years. Mrs. Bogdanowicz worked for the Township of East Brunswick as a Site Director for their afterschool program. Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and so much more. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Donna is predeceased by her parents George & Regina Swierkowski. Surviving is her beloved husband of 40 years Robert Bogdanowicz, Jr. of Parlin; her loving children & their spouses Robert, III and Erin of TX, Amanda & Brian Nowicki of Sayreville, and James of Parlin; her wonderful grandchildren Audrey, Savannah, and Lianna; and her brother Richard & his wife Theresa Swierkowski of PA as well as her sister and brother in law Valerie and Michael Baker of NJ.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5pm to 9pm and on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a Prayer Service at 5:30pm on Friday. A private cremation will follow.
