Obituary for Thomas E Chmielewski
East Brunswick
Thomas E. Chmielewski, age 75, of East Brunswick, passed away Wednesday April 29th 2015, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born in South Amboy he has resided in East Brunswick since 1969. Before his retirement he was employed by Harley Davidson Motorcycle, in Edison, as an insurance agent for 15 years and prior to that was the owner of Summerhill Insurance Agency in East Brunswick for 25 years. Thomas was a communicant of Saint Bartholomew’s R. C. Church in East Brunswick, and was an avid golfer.
He is predeceased by his wife Martha A. Bonus Chmielewski in 1997, his parents Adam & Angela Derent Chmielewski and his brother Edward Chmielewski. Surviving are his daughters and their husbands Mary Beth & Michael Scoles of Ringoes, Sherry & Shikhar Dixit of East Brunswick and Tammy & Richard Boslet of Edison and his grandchildren Amy Jessica Boslet and Adam Thomas Boslet.
Funeral services will be held Monday 8:45am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 9:30am mass at Saint Bartholomew’s R. C. Church in East Brunswick with burial to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
