I have devoted my time and energy over the years to take care of my grandfather. Of course, we were really fortunate to have each other as friends. He was a very respected and consecrated man who loved the Lord for so many years of his life. At often times, I would photograph him, so I decided to impress him with my joy and with my enthusiasm. For the most part, I would be there for him when times got rough. Grandfather Pasquale Zaccagnino really was one of a kind. In other words, to my understanding, that helped him to be a better person. And with that said, three years ago, he went home to be with the Lord.
